Where to start?! Linnea and her team are simply the best!

A few things come to mind...First, Linnea knows EVERYONE which makes the wedding vendor selection process so easy! This means that a) she was essentially a human filter for selecting the Best of Boston for our wedding (no reading 1000s of reviews and magazines - she will honestly tell you exactly what she thinks of vendors you have in mind!) and b) when we had questions for our vendors, she could simply pick up the phone and ask - no matter if it was the band manager or videographer - many of them are her friends, so she just makes things happen!  

Second, Linnea and her team put together a foolproof plan for the wedding weekend (literally down to the minute) to make sure that everything went smoothly. Linnea thinks of every detail well ahead of the wedding day. Everyone in our family/wedding party knew where to be and when, and with the schedule in hand, I never had to worry about a thing on the day, so we could just enjoy :)  

Finally - but probably most importantly - Linnea has such a fun, bubbly, and happy personality with a can-do/positive attitude, which is exactly what you want when planning such a celebratory event! She's always smiling, which makes you (as the bride) smile, too!

We recently had Linnea for our "Day Of" wedding planner in Boston and I cannot say enough great things about her and her team. As someone who is quite hands on and organized, I originally questioned whether I needed a wedding planner and now cannot imaging how the day would have gone without Linnea. Well in advance of the "day of" Linnea handled coordinating the entire wedding timeline, rehearsal, organized all of the various vendor logistics and timing, provided incredibly helpful insight and advice....and did it all with a fantastic smile and sense of humor! She works incredibly hard, is very responsive, and is just generally super on top of her game. On the actual day of the wedding, Linnea and her colleague, Tracy, anticipated needs that we didn't even know we had. She was instantly part of the family and so, so amazing. I highly recommend Linnea to anyone considering a planner and, like me, even those who are not sure they need one :)

I could not have more good things to say about Linnea and her team.  I hired Linnea to coordinate and act as the primary contact person for the day of my August wedding and my only regret was that I didn't have her help with all the months of planning.  She drew up an extremely detailed schedule for the three days before the wedding and wedding day. I was completely worry free.  Here are a couple examples of how Linnea made our day perfect:


- At the dress rehearsal, our priest wanted to have my bridesmaids walk only about 5 feet apart and me only about 10 feet behind my maid of honor, this was absolutely ridiculous considering we got married at the cathedral in Boston and the aisle is about 150 long and we had a music change in between my maid of honor and myself.  Our priest was pretty difficult to work with and almost resented Linnea's presence at the rehearsal; Linnea assured me that we would fix the processional before the wedding and it went off exactly like I had imagined.

- Also, logistically we had a difficult wedding because we used 5 trolleys to transport our 155 guests and the bridal party from the reception site to the church and then back again and the process was absolutely seamless. 

- Lastly, at the reception an older family friend passed out during dinner and I did not even know about it until well after the event. I am sure there are other mishaps that I don't even know about to this day.  

Linnea is prepared for just about everything, extremely fun to work with but also very professional. She and her helper were non-imposing but I was not bothered once during our entire celebration with any vendor problems.  She has a great list of preferred vendor that I highly recommend you consider, it could end up saving you money and headaches.  Linnea was worth every penny and then some; the piece of mind that I had knowing that everything was taken care of was priceless for me, my sister and mother who were free to enjoy the day.

I'm still in awe over John's and my wedding.  One of the best days of my life.  You are such a talent.  I can't imagine anything I would want to do differently.   Everyone was great.  The DJ kept the dance floor packed, the flow of the day was smooth, and the ceremony was amazing. 

Seriously, Linnea, I feel so lucky.  It started out with a wonderful guy and the whole event matched the energy that I feel drives John's and my relationship; happy, fun, heartfelt, creative and warm.  It felt so us.  Thank you so very much.

We worked with Tracy Kelly of Tangorra Wedding Planning for our daughter’s wedding in Boston. We can't praise her enough. Doing a wedding from afar (Virginia) was stressful, but Tracy made the whole thing easy. We spoke with her whenever we had questions, emailed constantly and met with her on many occasions. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and put my mind to rest which is not east to do. The wedding was awesome and she helped make it so. We had a slight mishap (father of bride was injured while dancing at the beginning of the reception) and Tracy handled it as if she did it every day. We needed a wheelchair and she got us one and made sure that later in the evening, a taxi was arranged to take the Dad to the hospital. The night went on and a great time was had by all, even the injured Dad. We have been telling anyone who will listen how phenomenal Tracy was and we wish we had another wedding to make so we could work with her again. We can't imagine the wedding without her. Her "war plan" as one of the bridesmaids referred to it, left no room for error and made everyone more relaxed since they knew where to be and when. Tracy, we love you and hope everyone in Boston planning a wedding comes knocking on your door.

I wanted to pop in now that our wedding's over to share a RAVE about our day-of-the-wedding coordinator: Linnea Tangorra, http://linneatangorra.com/ She is fantastic!  

We wanted to find a day-of-the-wedding coordinator because the wedding was at my parents' home, and therefore no one would really be "running the show." Linnea was absolutely amazing and surpassed our hopes in every way.  

She is ultra-organized, ultra-quick in responding to emails and calls, and very open-minded. She somehow manages to be both laid-back and INCREDIBLY on top of things; she never stresses out, she just gets EVERYTHING done, almost like magic. And all of our vendors love her, too: whenever we mentioned that we were working with her, they absolutely lit up because they know what a pleasure to work with she is. She's down-to-earth, funny, and really just great all around.  

Much of our wedding was DIY (invitations, flower arrangements, programs, favors, escort cards, place cards, etc. etc.), and Linnea totally "got it" that we didn't want to have a cookie-cutter wedding. She ran the show at both the rehearsal and the wedding itself, and thanks to her my family and I felt utterly relaxed. The wedding went so much more smoothly than I could ever have dreamed, and most of that was thanks to her.  

I can't even begin to convey how much more calm and confident my parents and I felt the moment we hired her. She rocks -- I can't recommend her highly enough!

Linnea made our wedding into everything that we wanted it to be. We could not have had such a beautiful and fun wedding without her. She found the venue for us, the photographer, the florist, and the DJ- and they were all the best of the best- just like her :) The only vendor I booked was the hair and makeup and the makeup canceled the morning of the wedding! I called Linnea right away and she spent the morning making calls for us and within a few hours she had someone for us. I never spent a second worrying about it because I knew Linnea would fix it all. Having Linnea at our wedding was worth every single penny. We cannot say enough good things about her.

Linnea is THE BEST. Linnea was my "day of" wedding planner, which really meant that she started working on my wedding several months out. I knew I was in good hands when I met with Linnea for the first time to go over the timeline for the big day -- I came in with lots of questions and half baked ideas, but Linnea had everything so well organized that by the end of our meeting I was checking things off my to do list that I hadn't even known I needed! Linnea was so much fun to work with over the next few months. Not only is she super friendly and bubbly, but she is also very patient and calming. Great qualities to have when wedding planning can get stressful! Linnea will respond to your emails immediately, provide very helpful opinions and recommendations, and always has a contact if you're looking for a new vendor. There are so many little details that can be stressful to plan, and Linnea was on top of every single one. For example, I learned 2 weeks before the wedding that you need a sound system for the ceremony (I thought this came with the band -- nope!). When I called the "sound guy", I was told that everything had already been taken care of weeks ago -- by Linnea! On the weekend of the wedding, Linnea made sure that everything was flawless. She helped run our ceremony rehearsal, coordinated all our vendors, got the wedding party organized on the day of, and was even running around the venue itself making sure that every detail and every table was just right! Her attention is detail is amazing, and so so appreciated! She ensured that the logistics and details were the last thing on my mind on my wedding day -- she took care of it all. Having Linnea on our "team" as we planned our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made. I would recommend her to anyone that asks!! She will ensure that you have the wedding day of your dreams!

I honestly can't say enough great things about Linnea and the entire Tangorra Wedding Planning team for all of the incredible work they put in to our Labor Day wedding. After our first conversation, I knew we wouldn't be able to organize our dream wedding without their help. We were about 6 months out when we initially contacted Linnea and she immediately began coordinating with all of our vendors to put a very comprehensive timeline together for the wedding weekend. She thought about things I would never have considered and took all of the stress out of the last few months of planning. I want to relive our wedding every day of my life, and Tracy Kelly from Tangorra is the reason why. I didn't even want to hire a planner- my mother all but insisted- and now I don't know why anyone would - or how anyone could - have a wedding without Tracy. From the very start Tracy was incredibly helpful suggesting vendors and facilitating any questions. Towards the end we had some hiccups with our venue and Tracy took care of everything without a hitch. She is the reason my husband and I were able to really, really enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about logistics or problems. Plus, Tracy is just a wonderful, kind person who is great to have around and went the extra mile to make us feel happy and loved. A planner - especially Tracy- from Tangorra is THE best investment you can make for your wedding. If you are even considering it (and if you aren't, you should be), call Tangorra, you will not be sorry.

Linnea is awesome! She was the best thing that happened to my wedding (minus the actual ceremony of marrying my husband! lol).  Seriously, she's the best.   My mom had actually passed away before our wedding, and I was nervous to go through planning a wedding without my mom.  I needed someone that could act as a 'mother', planner and friend...and Linnea did all of those beautifully.  

I also wanted a very unique wedding...a good mix of traditional and classic, and Linnea helped take my ideas and bring them to reality, while offering her own ideas and suggestions.   We gave her a budget, which she stayed within (I was the one who kept raising the budget to add more random stuff that I wanted....but Linnea could have easily planned our wedding within any budget range).  She was fantastic..I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. It sounds cheesy...but it's true.  

I really don't know if we had any problems arise during the wedding, because Linnea took care of everything.  I was able to enjoy my wedding, and be a 'guest' instead of the 'host'.  All the vendors commented on how much they love working with Linnea...she's incredibly well respected in the wedding industry.    We originally hired her as a "day of coordinator" but as the day got closer, we ended up hiring her to do most of the planning, and I'm so happy we did!

I cannot recommend Linnea and the entire Tangorra team highly enough. My mother and I worked with Linnea starting in December to plan our June wedding. From start to finish, Linnea was a joy to work with. She made the entire process of planning a 200-person outdoor wedding with four days of events fun and easy.


During the planning process, Linnea guided us through every decision with incredible responsiveness, warmth, and efficiency. She recommended top-notch vendors with whom she has excellent working relationships, and from the photographer to the caterer to the florist, we loved working with everyone she suggested. I could write you a thank you note every week for the next year and I'm not sure even then I would adequately be able to describe how incredibly thankful Mark and I are for all you did to make our wedding just perfect!  

I was hesitant at first to hire a coordinator - but after speaking with you and then meeting you in person any lingering questions were immediately gone and I never looked back - in fact hiring YOU would be the first piece of advice I would give to any newly engaged bride-to-be. You answered all of my questions, worked patiently with my type-A personality and most of all reassured me that you had everything under control (including me!) - it was that comfort and trust that allowed my Mom, Dad, Mark and me to sit back and truly enjoy the day (with all 212 of our closest friends and family :)).  

You not only took care of the details of our day - but you took care of all of us. From completely fixing/redoing the bustle on my dress on more than one occasion, to making sure our flower girl had her beloved American Girl doll with her at all times, to tracking down my Dad when his gift of gab may have caused him not to be where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there, to setting up and replenishing the candy bar my Mom had put together you did it all with warmth, complete grace and a smile.

You also found out quite quickly what my one frustration point was with our planning process and whenever and wherever you could, you took it out of my hands allowing me to step back and out of the situation. In these instances I know you went above and beyond the call of duty - and for that a simple thank you just doesn't seem adequate, but I hope you know how sincere I am when I say it.  

Lastly, and certainly not least - thank you for the support you gave to me. Your reassuring smile, your warmth, your calm demeanor and your confidence put me immediately at ease. I could relax (and I stayed sane) because of you. I know we hired you to help coordinate our event but you have become so much more than that - you are now a treasured friend.
